action

The young Angelica checks in with her aunt Gertrude and her cousins Bernice and Hortense on board the RMS Titanic . While her aunt and her daughters drive in the first class, Angelica has to spend the night as the housemaid of the three in the third class. She shares her cabin with old Victoria and her two grandchildren. Angelica's greatest wish is to find her mother and father again. All that remains of her mother is a gold medallion with her photo.

The young and wealthy William, who is traveling with his nanny and his French secretary Gaston, went on board. Gaston found Angelica's locket in the harbor, which she lost unnoticed. He gives the medallion to the beautiful singer Molly, who goes on board with two Dalmatians. The tour company also includes the overweight Winnie, who wants to get to know a rich man during the trip, the failed banker Jeremy McFlannel and jewel thief Corynthia and her two henchmen Kirk and Dirk. Incognito, detective Sam Bradbury sneaks on board to catch the jewel thieves. Numerous animals go on board unnoticed by people, including a family of mice, geese, a magpie and a Mexican mouse ribbon. The dog Fritz is in command of the animals on board.

On the Titanic, Angelica discovers that her locket has disappeared. Because she saves the mouse child Maxie, the animals on the Titanic soon take part in the search for the medallion. Angelica, who has just picked up her aunt's clothes to be mended, and William meet in first grade. William falls in love with Angelica, but cannot find her again afterwards. Only Victoria puts him on the right track. William invites Angelica to a ball on board, but she has nothing to wear. Victoria lends her a dress that she once wore. The Dalmatians meanwhile recognize Molly's medallion as the piece of jewelry they are looking for. The magpie and Maxie manage to steal the locket and return Angelica. She wears it when she goes to the ball and dances the night away with William. There is also a celebration below deck with the animals, with the mice successfully contributing food from the ship's kitchen.

During the night the Titanic rams an iceberg and begins to sink. Angelica and Williams' nanny escape into a boat; here the nanny recognizes her missing daughter in Angelica. The women rescue Detective Sam from the water and finally recover William, who falls into Angelica's arms. Molly goes down with the Titanic. Their two Dalmatians are taken in by Angelica and William, who get married. Sam puts the thief Corynthia behind bars, while Kirk and Dirk, to Gertrude's chagrin, marry Bernice and Hortense.
