Mónica Ferraz

Mónica Ferraz (* 23. March 1980 in Porto ) is a Portuguese Soul - / pop - singer and songwriter .

Career

She became known as the singer of the band Mesa , of which she has been a member since 2002. In 2011 she left the group and devoted herself entirely to her solo career, which she began in 2010 with the release of her first album, Start Stop . As a result, the original first single from the album, Go go go , reached number 30 on the Portuguese sales charts in 2012.

Mónica Ferraz was nominated as Best portuguese act for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 , which will take place in Frankfurt am Main in November 2012 .
