Career

Ocampo played from 2006 to 2009 in ranks of Indiana FC in the WPSL and W-League . For the 2010 season she was committed to the Atlanta Beat franchise , which she left after a year. For the inaugural 2013 season of the newly founded National Women's Soccer League , Ocampo joined Sky Blue FC and became its most successful goalscorer during the season.

National team

Mónica Ocampo is the Mexican national player and on June 27, 2011, with her long-range shot from almost 30 meters to make it 1-1 in the World Cup game against England, she made a significant contribution to the Mexicans' first ever point win at a women's World Cup . She is also part of the Mexican squad for the 2015 World Cup in Canada.
