Mônica Passos (born November 29, 1956 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian actress and singer.

Act

Passos, who has lived in France since 1980, performed at Jazz à Juan the following year . In the next few years she worked as an actress, including with Augusto Boal . As a singer she was on tour in Europe and North America and presented a repertoire based mainly on works by Egberto Gismonti , Hermeto Pascoal , Milton Nascimento and Caetano Veloso ; Since the 1990s own songs, jazz standards and French chansons (especially by Léo Ferré ) have been added.
