Mühlenstrasse 17 (Quedlinburg)
House Mühlenstraße 17 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg on the south side of Mühlenstraße . The house is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Mühlenstraße 18 to the west.
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house was built in 1671 by the carpenter Martin Lange . This is indicated by an inscription on the house, which, in addition to a coat of arms made of two axes and a saw, mentions M. Marten Lange ZM . The half-timbered facade of the house was in the 18./19. Century changed. The cane of the house is carved. In addition, there are profiled filler woods , pyramid beam heads and ship throats . The compartments are lined with bricks.
The rear front of the building was renewed in the second half of the 20th century using massive construction.
