Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1789. On its half-timbered facade there are pyramid beam heads that are otherwise only found on considerably older buildings. The eastern part of the ground floor is a massive construction.
On February 10, 1853, the Quedlinburg sculptor Richard Anders was born in the house . The building was known as Art # 169 at the time.
Today's building is an extensive reconstruction after extensive renovation. The building, originally built as a residential building, is now used as a hotel.
