Mühlenstrasse 6 (Quedlinburg)
House Mühlenstraße 6 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg on the north side of Mühlenstraße . The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register. Mühlenstrasse 5 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the west and Mühlenstrasse 7 to the east .
Architecture and history
The two-story half - timbered house was built around 1700. The half-timbered facade of the upper floor is provided with various decorative shapes. So there are the forms half man , St. Andrew's cross and diamond cross . A sandstone staircase leads to the house entrance on the left . The front door itself dates from the second half of the 19th century and is designed in the style of late classicism .
