The house Mühlenstraße 3 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg, elevated above the north side of Mühlenstrasse . The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed in the Quedlinburg Monument Register. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Mühlenstrasse 2 to the west.

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1807, although 1802 is also assumed to be a possible year of construction. The builder was JH Sasse. The inscription IH SASSE ZM refers to him . The house is covered by a mansard roof . The half-timbered facade of the house is characterized by wide compartments . A staircase made of sandstone leads to the house entrance door inserted into the facade on the left .
