The M'Bali is a river in the Central African Republic .
geography
It rises in the west of the prefecture Ombella-Mpoko in the border area with the prefecture Mambéré-Kadéï , 10 km west of Yaloké. After Yaloké it initially flows in a northern, approximately 80 km wide arc to the east. About 20 km east of Bossembélé it changes its course in a south-easterly direction in order to form the Boali reservoir for another 20 km . About 7 km downstream of the lake is the Boali Falls , a national attraction. After another 100 km, it joins the Pama about 30 km west of Bangui . After the confluence, the further name designation depends on the sources. According to Russian general staff maps, it is still the M'Bali until it flows into the M'Poko after another 29 km . The catchment area includes Pama 14,550 km³.

Due to the Boali dam, the M'Bali is of particular importance for the energy supply of the city of Bangui.
Hydrometry
The flow rate of the river was measured over 37 years (1948-65) in Boali Post, 71 km above the confluence with the Pama. The mean annual flow rate observed in Boali Post during this period was 70.3 m³ / s.
