The MMBW Channel is a channel in the Australian state of Victoria .

It connects the Baw Baw Mountains in the center of the state with the upper reaches of the Yarra River , thus creating a connection between the river systems of the Latrobe River and the Yarra River.

Was built in the MMBW Channel by M Elbourne and M etropolitan B oard of W orks , the predecessor of Melbourne Water , additional to the Yarra River water for the drinking water supply of Melbourne supply.
