The MMR06 is a Russian rocket for meteorological experiments. It is 3.48 meters long and has a takeoff weight of 130 kg. The MMR06 rocket was built in two versions: the first version had a conical tip, the second, also called MMR06-M, a detachable free-flying body ( dart ). The summit heights are 60 and 80 kilometers. Between 1988 and 1992 62 rockets of the type MMR06-M were launched from the former NVA training area on the Zingst peninsula in order to carry out wind and temperature measurements in the high atmosphere .
