The Märkische SV Eintracht Frankfurt was a German football club from Frankfurt (Oder) . The home of the 200-member club was the Mittelweg sports complex, which can accommodate 1,000 spectators. The MSV was in the tradition of the BSG unit Frankfurt .
history
Eintracht Frankfurt was founded in 1950 under the name "BSG Einheit Frankfurt". The Brandenburgers were supported by the Frankfurt city administration, which acted as the sponsoring company . Like all GDR administrative associations, the BSG was thus run under the designation "Unity".
On a sporting level, the BSG soccer team rose in 1953 to the Frankfurt district league founded the year before . Frankfurt played mostly in the top regions of the table until 1960, but failed several times due to the possible promotion to the 2nd GDR league at Lok Frankfurt . In 1954 and 1961, Einheit won his only two titles when he won the Frankfurt District Cup. In the associated qualifications for the first main round of the GDR soccer cup , Einheit Frankfurt clearly prevailed against Chemie Großräschen with 6: 1, but went down in the second round at GDR upper division BSG activist Brieske-Ost with 0:15. In 1961, Frankfurt was defeated by BSG Tiefbau Berlin 1: 5.
The season 1961/62 should be the last high-class season of the football team. With the establishment of SC Frankfurt , after negotiations with the Dynamo sports association, SCF took the place of the newly promoted SG Dynamo Frankfurt in the GDR league . Dynamo was again downgraded to the district league, and then occupied the district league pitch of Einheit Frankfurt, whose football team was then only active in the district class area.
- Foundation of the MSV Hanse Frankfurt
In 1990 the BSG was transformed into the SV unit Frankfurt. From the club, which continues to play at a lower level in football, the football department broke away in 1994 and founded the MSV Hanse Frankfurt on June 8th of that year. Its soccer players are sporty at national level.
- Merger with Frankfurter FC Viktoria
2009 merged Hanse Frankfurt with the "Frankfurter FC Eintracht 1911" declining SV Eintracht Frankfurt briefly to MSV Eintracht Frankfurt , in July 2012, the club took the Frankfurter FC Viktoria a merger for 1. FC Frankfurt (Oder) E. V .
