Mağaracık (original name Berkurk or Berhok even Xanik or Xanikê) was a jesidischer hamlet in the southeast of Turkey . The hamlet was about 30 km east of Nusaybin in the province of Mardin . The place is located at the foot of the Tur Abdin mountain range in southeastern Anatolia . Administratively, Mağaracık belongs to the Bucak Girmeli.

Mağaracık (Xanik) is about 3.5 km southeast of Güneli (Geliyê Sora) and about 2 km northeast of Çilesiz (Mezrê). The Yezidi cemetery Goristana Hesen Begê is about 1 km to the west of the village.
