Małgorzata Roszkowska

Małgorzata Danuta Roszkowska (born September 27, 1967 in Białystok ) is a former Polish judoka who was third in the 1995 World Cup.

Athletic career

The 1.60 m tall Małgorzata Roszkowska fought in the super lightweight, the weight class up to 48 kilograms. In 1986 she won the first of her eight Polish championship titles, the others she fought from 1988 to 1993 and 1995.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1989, she lost to French Cécile Nowak in the semi-finals , and won the battle for a bronze medal against Austrian Michaela Bornemann . At the 1989 World Championships in Belgrade, Roszkowska was eliminated in the round of 16 against Tatiana Kuwschinowa from the Soviet Union. The following year Roszkowska failed at the European Championships in 1990 in the second round to the Portuguese Isabel Neves . At the 1991 World Cup in Barcelona, ​​she lost in the round of 16 against the German Jana Perlberg .
