Ma Qun (born February 8, 1994 ) is a Chinese javelin thrower .

Athletic career

Ma Qun gained his first international experience at the 2015 Asian Championships in Wuhan , where he finished sixth with 74.84 m. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he finished fourth with a width of 80.46 m. The following year he was seventh at the Asian Championships in Doha with a width of 76.31 m. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples , where he won the bronze medal behind the Moldovans Andrian Mardare and Edis Matusevičius from Lithuania with a width of 79.62 m .

In 2015 Ma became the Chinese javelin master.
