The Machuhar Glacier is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Machuhar Glacier has a length of 22 km. It flows initially in a southerly direction and later in a south-easterly direction through the southern part of the Batura Muztagh mountain range . The southern slope of the so-called "Batura Wall" forms the nutrient area. The Machuhar Glacier is framed by the following mountains: Batura I ( 7794 m ), Muchu Chhish ( 7453 m ), Sangemarmar Sar ( 6949 m ) and Hachindar Chhish ( 6870 m ). The glacier ends shortly before reaching the Shisparegletscher , whose outlet flows into the Hunza .
