Maciej Małolepszy

Maciej Małolepszy (* 1972 in Gorzów Wielkopolski ) is a Polish lawyer and professor at the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt (Oder) .

Life

Małolepszy studied law at the University of Frankfurt (Oder) from 1992 to 1997 . In 1997 he passed his master's degree from the University of Poznan . From 1998 to 2001 he did his legal clerkship at the Bar Association in Zielona Góra , where he passed his exam in 2001, which corresponds to the German Second State Examination. In 2006 he completed his doctorate with Jan C. Joerden in Frankfurt. iur.

He then worked from 2007 as a research assistant at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Zielona Góra and at the same time as a lecturer in criminal law at the Bar Association in Zielona Góra. From 2008 he held a chair at the University of Frankfurt (Oder). Since 2009 he has held the full professorship for Polish criminal law at the University of Frankfurt (Oder). In 2013 Małolepszy completed his habilitation and received the venia legendi for the subjects of German and Polish criminal and criminal procedural law, legal theory and comparative criminal law.
