Madeleine Harris (born October 1, 2001 ) is an English child actress .

Life

Harris lives in a small Massachusetts village.

Her acting career started when she met actor Idris Elba in a pub. She was so enthusiastic about the Luther actor and the acting that Elba put her in contact with his agent.

She got her first acting job in 2012 as Izzy Forrester in Casualty . This caused a car accident. Harris ran across a freeway while cars sped by. She later stated that the role was one of her funniest jobs. In 2013 Harris played the over 460 year old vampire Hettie in the television series Being Human . In 2014, she played the lead role of Judy Brown in the movie Paddington .
