Madeleine's New Adventure is a French - American animated series that was produced between 1993 and 2001 . On May 18, 2003, the film Madeleine on the hunt for crooks was broadcast in Germany. The story is based on the book " Madeleine " by Ludwig Bemelmans from 1939 .

The story revolves around the young Parisian girl Madeleine, who lives in a boarding school and has many adventures with her friends.
Production and publication
The series was created between 1993 and 2001 in a French and American collaboration. Directed by Scott Heming and written by Shelley Zellman. DiC Entertainment took over the production .
The German premiere took place on August 19, 2002 on Super RTL . Other broadcasts also took place on KidsCo . In Germany, however, not all episodes were shown.
