History and description
The house at Magdalenenstrasse 5 was built around 1600 . Stylistically, the building belongs to the Renaissance . The house comes from the first construction phase on Ballonplatz and was partially destroyed in the Second World War. After the war the building was rebuilt. The originally three-axis house was widened by a window axis during the reconstruction in 1951 ; as a result, the gate entrance was narrowed. Behind the Renaissance - gable is a broadly supported, traufständiges mansard roof . On the ground floor , the window formats were changed to shop window format. The facade is plastered .

A copy and bookbinding shop is located on the ground floor. There are apartments on the upper floors.
