Magne Haga (born September 14, 1994 in Nannestad ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

In 2013 Haga won the silver medal with the Norwegian relay team at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Liberec and was world champion in skiathlon and fifth in the 15 km freestyle at the U23 World Championships in Almaty in 2015 . In the Scandinavian Cup he competed for the first time in the 2014/15 season . In his first race in December 2014 in Lillehammer over 15 km freestyle he achieved a top ten result with fifth place. At the end of February 2015, Haga won his first race in this category in the 30 km freestyle mass start in Madona . He ran his first World Cup race in March 2015 in Oslo , which he finished in twelfth place in the 50 km freestyle mass start race and thus also scored his first World Cup points. At the end of the season he finished fourth in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. At the beginning of April 2016 he was third at the Norwegian Championships in Beitostølen over 50 km freestyle. In December 2019 in Beitostølen he achieved his first top ten placement in the individual World Cup with ninth place over 30 km freestyle and his podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the relay.
