Magni Smedås (born June 17, 1995 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .
Career
Smedås, who starts for the Lillehammer Ski Club , made its first international appearance at the 2013 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Predeal . There she took 23rd place in the sprint and 7.5 km freestyle and 17th place over 5 km classic. In February 2014, she ran her first races in the Scandinavian Cup in Meråker and came in 26th place in the 20 km mass start race and 21st place in the 10 km freestyle. The following month she became Norwegian junior champion over 15 km classic and won third place in the team sprint at the Norwegian championships together with Therese Johaug . She made her debut in the World Cup in February 2019 in Cogne . There she got her first World Cup point with 30th place in the sprint. In the 2019/20 season, she made it into the points ten times in the World Cup, including 20th place in the Tour de Ski 2019/20 and thus finished 39th in the overall World Cup.
