Magnus Andersen (born August 28, 1975 in Fredrikstad , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player . He is 1.95 m tall.
Andersen, who last played for the German second division club Eintracht Hildesheim (shirt number 8), was mostly used in the right back space.
Magnus Andersen started playing handball in his hometown. About the nearby Sarpsborg he came to Bodø / Glimt HK, where he also made his debut in the Norwegian first division. In 1996 he moved to Elverum Håndball for a year before he was signed by the Danish KIF Kolding in 1997 . With the Jutlanders he won the Danish Cup in 1999 and played in the EHF Champions League . In the 1999/2000 season he played for TV Grambke Bremen in the German 2nd handball Bundesliga , where he was voted the best player in the 2nd North League. In 2000 he returned to Norway, to the then master IL Runar Sandefjord, where he also only played for one season; In 2001 he moved to Sweden to Alingsås HK . He stayed there for three years before joining the Spanish second division club Fadesa Oar from La Coruña in 2004 . After half a year he returned to Norway, this time to Nit / Hak Nittedal. In the summer of 2005 Andersen moved to Greece, to Panellinios Athens . With the capital club he won the Greek championship in 2006; Nevertheless, his contract was not extended and Andersen was without a club for half a year. In November 2006 he was finally taken under contract by the German second division club Ahlener SG. There he knew how to convince, so that other clubs also noticed him. In the summer of 2007 Andersen signed a two-year contract with Eintracht Hildesheim. Due to an injury, he ended his playing career at the end of the 2008/2009 season.
