Magritte (film award) / Best first work
Magritte : Best first work (Magritte du meilleur premier film, initially Magritte du premier film )
Winner and nominee in the category Best First Work (Magritte du meilleur premier film) since the first award of the Belgian national film award . The award is given to the best, first film productions by a young director of the past cinema year, both domestic productions and co-productions with foreign partners.
The prize in this category was awarded for the first time in 2013. In contrast to the other Magritte categories, this was an audience award. The public chose the winner for three years, the first year by voting on the Magritte website. Since 2016, the winners in this category have also been determined by a jury of experts.
The films listed below are given with their German distribution title, if this can be determined. This is followed by the original title, in brackets and in italics, and the name of the director.
