Maguing ( Filipino : Bayan ng Maguing ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Lanao del Sur , Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. It has 24,531 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 34 barangays . It is classified as a second income class community in the Philippines and as a village .
Maging is located in the east of the province, approx. 24 kilometers southeast of Marawi City , at the foot of the Kalatungan Mountains . The neighboring communities are Bubong in the north, Buadiposo-Buntong , Mulondo and Taraka in the west, Lumba-Bayabao in the south, and Kalilangan in the east.
