Mahaboboka , also Mahaboboky , ( which makes the stomach fat ) is a community ( commune ) in the Atsimo-Andrefana region in the south of Madagascar . In 2010 it had about 3500 inhabitants, most of whom belong to the Bara .
Mahaboboka has a certain regional importance due to its market. The place is on the national road 7 , which connects the capital Antananarivo with Toliara , and on the Fiherenana river .
