The Route nationale 7 (RN 7) is the longest national road in Madagascar with a length of around 920 km . It runs from the capital Antananarivo in the center of the country via Antsirabe , Fianarantsoa and Ihosy to Toliara (Tulear) on the southwest coast ( Strait of Mozambique ) and is also known as the "Route du Sud".

The RN 7 is paved, is considered to be one of the most important and busiest roads in the country and is generally in good condition.
