Mahbouba Gharbi

Mahbouba Gharbi (* 1973 in Tunis ) is an engineer and computer scientist specializing in software engineering and software architecture .

From 1994 to 1999 she studied telecommunications and information technology at ENS Telecom Paris, as well as communications engineering and data processing at the University of Stuttgart , where she earned a double degree as an engineer . Since 1999 she has been working on projects as a software architect and Java / JEE specialist. In 2004 she founded the IT consulting company ITech Progress GmbH, which she has been managing to this day as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Architect.

Mahbouba Gharbi is a founding member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB eV), where she is involved on a voluntary basis in the creation of training plans, certification exams and examination regulations for software architects. Since 2008 she has been chairwoman of the board of the association. Mahbouba Gharbi lectures at international universities on the subjects of Java / JEE and SOA ( Service-Oriented Architecture ) and is a trainer for the Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA) for the Foundation and Advanced Level. She also writes specialist articles on software architecture topics such as SOA or soft skills for software architects and regularly gives lectures on software architecture at international trade fairs such as OOP, OSID and JAX.

With the ITech Academy, Mahbouba Gharbi has been running a training center for iSAQB CPSA training courses since 2010 with locations in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Nuremberg and Frankfurt-Eschborn. The Academy offers both open and in-house training courses on a wide range of software architecture topics both nationally and internationally.
