The Mahdlgupf is a 1261 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Höllengebirge in the area of the municipality of Steinbach am Attersee .
The summit is on Mahdlschneid between Schoberstein and Brennerin .
The normal route leads from Weißenbach am Attersee past the Kleiner and Großer Schoberstein. A via ferrata ( difficulty D) has been leading through the northwest face since 2012 .
