The street village of Mahlitsch is located west of Dommitzsch on an elevated plain in front of a larger forest. The district can be reached via a connecting road.

history

Malencz was 1443 this settlement on a sandy plain next to the eastern Elbeaue first mentioned in documents. 1485 The settlers called the village of times sealed and 1529 Malitzsch . Until it was ceded to Prussia in 1815, the place belonged to the district office of Wittenberg . 117 inhabitants lived in the village in 1818 and 243 in 1946, which always parish after Dommitzsch. On July 1, 1950 Mahlitzsch was incorporated into Dommitzsch. The village was last part of the Torgau district .
