The Maigetter Peak is a rocky and 750  m high mountain in the West Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . In the Ford Ranges it rises on the south bank of Block Bay as the northernmost of the Birchall Peaks .

Participants in the American Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928–1930) discovered it and photographed it during an overflight on December 5, 1929. The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965 The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1970 after the biologist Robert Zenn Maigetter (* 1945), who was involved in the exploration of Marie Byrd Land as part of the United States Antarctic Program between 1967 and 1968.
