The Maigo Peak ( English ; Japanese 迷 子 山 Maigo-yama , German 'Streunerberg' ) is a hill on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . He immediately west of Bōhyō Heights and 2.5 km east-southeast of Cape Hinode .
Aerial photographs and measurements of an Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962 were used to map it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred the Japanese designation made in 1973 to English in 1975.
