Majeti Fetrie

Majeti Fetrie (born June 12, 1974 ) is a former Ghanaian weightlifter .

He made his international debut in Abuja at the 2003 African Games . In 2006 he won the gold medal in the class up to 77 kg at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. In the same year, however, he was banned until 2008 for a doping violation . After his suspension, he took part in the 2009 World Championships in Goyang in the class up to 85 kg, but had no valid attempt in pushing. At the 2012 African Championships in Nairobi, he reached tenth place. After his active career he became a trainer a. a. from Alberta Ampomah .
