Makiko Ito
Makiko Itō ( Japanese 伊藤 真 貴子 , Itō Makiko ; born January 18, 1973 ) is a former Japanese marathon runner .
In 1993 she finished fifth in the Gold Coast Marathon half marathon .
In 1995 she came 17th in the Nagoya Marathon , and the following year she improved to fifth in the same place.
In 1997, she finished third in the Rotterdam Marathon with the sixth fastest time of the year and won the Tokyo International Women's Marathon . After a 14th place in the Osaka Women's Marathon in 1999, she ended her career.
