Maksim Malenkih (born August 21, 1980 ) is a Kyrgyz summer biathlete .

Maksim Malenkih took part for the first time in the Junior World Championships in summer biathlon in Khanty-Mansiysk , which was held for the first time in 2000 , and won the bronze medal there in the relay competition. He was also eighth in the sprint and ninth in the pursuit. He achieved the greatest success at the Summer Biathlon World Championships in 2002 in Jablonec nad Nisou , when he was able to win the silver medal in the sprint behind Marek Matiaško . With less success he took part in the World Championships in 2003 in Forni Avoltri and in 2006 in Ufa . In 2003 Malenkih was 36th in the sprint and 29th in the pursuit, in 2006 23rd in the sprint and 21st in the pursuit.
