UAB Makveža is the operator of the Lithuanian hardware store chain Moki-veži . The Lithuanian competitors of "Moki-veži" are " Senukai " in Kaunas , "Statybinių medžiagų mažmena" (former company UAB " Bauhof LT") in Vilnius , SKV.

history

The company started its activity in the spring of 2000 with the establishment of a branch in Vilnius . In the first business year the company achieved a turnover of 2 million litas (579,240 euros). In 2012 the company achieved sales of 173.591 million litas (50.275 million euros). September 2012 opened the 29th commercial center in Raseiniai (1,800 square meters with a parking space for 60 cars). In 2012, the Šilutė trade center was opened for residents of the Šilutė Rajong municipality . In 2013 the company achieved sales of 215 million litas. A listing on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius is being discussed. In the following years several branches were closed or moved. In 2018, sales of 81.83 million euros were achieved. In 2019, the last trading center to date was opened in Mažeikiai .

A “Moki-veži” trading center employs around 20 people and is 2000 square meters in size (of which 1200 m² is a trading hall and 800 m² is a warehouse). The range includes around 30,000 different goods in the areas of decoration, construction, heating and gardening and field work. Various additional services are offered in the hardware stores: decorative plaster mixing, coloring agent mixing; Transport, advice on the use of materials, calculation of material requirements, cutting services, ordering goods from catalogs, shipping, repairs under warranty, storage of goods, loading operations, storage of goods.

Shareholders

UAB Catus (former UAB “Stamija”, founded in 1997) holds 65% of the shares in Makveža, 40% of which is owned by Dainius Kreivy and 60% by Grasilė Sinkevičienė.
