Malad City is a small town in southern Idaho ( United States ). It is the capital of Oneida County and has 2,017 inhabitants (as of 2014).
history
Malad was founded in 1864 and has been the county seat since 1866.

Malad City is on Interstate 15 , which runs in a north-south direction. In the east-west direction, Malad is connected via State Highways 36 and 37.
