The Malbon River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river has its source at Lookput Peak about 55 km southeast of Mount Isa and about 90 km southwest of Cloncurry . It initially flows east to the small town of Malbon and flows into the Cloncurry River about 5 km further east .
