Maliq (born December 13, 1980 ; actually Hauke Maleck ) is a German R&B singer.

life and work
His first record release was in 1999, the single Baby genial as a member of the duo Jaymaliq (together with Robert "Jay" Arwaj). In 2001 he took part in the castings of the second season of pop stars , but had to quit due to contractual difficulties.
His breakthrough came in the summer of 2006 when he entered the top 10 of the German charts with the single "Like the Wind" with the Vibekingz (consisting of DJ STATIC and DJ Size). The song is a cover version of the old song She's Like the Wind by Patrick Swayze from the movie Dirty Dancing .
At the same time his single "Follow Me" with Culcha Candela was able to place in the German charts. The piece is the title song of the film Hui Buh - The Castle Ghost .
The second single from the album 24/7 Addicted by Vibekingz and Maliq is This Letter (PS. I Still Luv U) and was released on October 27, 2006.
