Malte Welding

Malte Welding (born February 14, 1974 in Eupen ) is a German author , columnist and blogger .

Life

Welding grew up in Aachen and studied law . In 2006 he co-founded the football blog Fooligan , after which he wrote for the literary blog Neue Bodenständigkeit , the Netzeitung and the Spreeblick weblog . For FAZ -Online he was (under the pseudonym Nicander von Saage ) co-author of the weblog Deus Ex Machina . Welding is a columnist for the Berliner Zeitung and in December 2010 published his first book “Women and men don't go together - not even in the middle”. Welding was nominated in 2011, 2012 and 2013 for the German Reporter Award in the “Best Essay” category. In 2012 Welding published his second book Versieb, Verkackt ,married - From the life after the happy ending , 2013 appeared two collections of Christmas stories, to each of which Welding contributed a story. At the beginning of 2014, his column collection was attracted, you attracted me more . In January 2015, his book Be Fertile and Complain !: A Plea for Children - Despite Everything was published.

In 2015 Malte Welding wrote the script for the film SMS für dich .
