German reporter award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Reporter Award is awarded by Reporter-Forum eV , a network of German journalists, for outstanding reports in various media. Its official title is: German Reporter Award, the award made by journalists for journalists. It was first awarded in December 2009. In contrast to many other awards, it is not subject-specific, but is awarded in different categories. The allegation that the award winners are disguised behind closed doors by a biased jury is countered by the fact that the jury meeting is always open to the public. Both the award and the Reporter Forum are financially supported by the Rudolf Augstein Foundation , the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Augustinum Group .
