At the end of 2015, ZDF released the documentary Conspiracy Theories - Leben im Wahn by Marc Mauricius Quambusch with Anders als Moderator, in which he explains and critically classifies various conspiracy theories (e.g. chemtrails ) and right-wing groups such as the Reich Citizenship Movement. That same year, Anders released his first book entitled Your stupidity makes me sick in the dtv publisher that later in an audio book version was published a few months and for three weeks bestseller list Mirror was on. Here, too, Anders takes a critical stance towards various conspiracy theories and political phenomena.

After a criticism of the AfD's double standards published on September 15, 2017 , Anders came into the focus of the right-wing radical network Reconquista Germanica according to a report on heute + and, according to Stephan Mündges from ZDF , received two thousand hateful comments on the video Die AfD and within two days the “courage to truth” on his YouTube channel.

On December 14, 2016, the NRW parliamentary group of the Pirate Party Germany elected Anders as a member of the 16th Federal Assembly , which elected Frank-Walter Steinmeier as the twelfth Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany on February 12, 2017 .

From 2017 to 2018 he researched together with the research network of funk for the documentary Lösch Dich: This is how hate is organized on the net via the right-wing extremist network Reconquista Germanica . For this, he and Patrick Stegemann were awarded the German Reporter Prize in December 2018 in the "Web Video" category. The Jüdischen Allgemeine Anders said in an interview that a big problem is the manipulation of YouTube by right-wing users: "This scene works on a massive scale with fake accounts and manipulated comment areas."

To combat false news and hate speech, Rayk Anders calls for greater control of the Internet : “The Internet is a great thing, and freedom of expression is a valuable asset. But the nonsense that is currently flooding the network, the hatred that demonstrators are shouting in front of refugee homes, the half-truths with which right-wing populists want to scare voters - I can no longer hear it all. It is enough for me."

The YouTube channel of Rayk Anders decreed on November 6, 2018 110,000 subscribers and 18.6 million views since its establishment on August 21, 2013.

At the end of 2019, Rayk Anders and funk parted ways. Anders is therefore no longer part of public service broadcasting .

Anders is married and says he is an agnostic .
