Wolfgang Uchatius

Wolfgang Uchatius (* 1970 in Regensburg ) is a German journalist .

Life

Uchatius studied economics as well as political science, sociology and communication science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and at De Montfort University in Leicester ; In 1995 he spent several months in Asia on a scholarship from the Carl Duisberg Society . In addition to his studies, Uchatius completed training as an editor at the German School of Journalism in Munich ; he sat in on the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Free Press , the Saxon Newspaper and the weekly newspaper Die Zeit .

After completing his studies, Wolfgang Uchatius worked as a freelance journalist in Berlin in 1999, primarily for Die Zeit , SZ-Magazin and the Berliner Zeitung . In early 2000, he moved to time to Hamburg, first as an editor in the economic departmental . From 2007 to 2012 Uchatius was a department-independent reporter of the time , since the end of 2012 he has been heading the Dossier department.
