In her report “A city seeks a murderer” about a murder case in Endingen am Kaiserstuhl in November 2016 , Roth managed, according to the journalists ' union, “masterfully, the complex web of investigations, the relationships within the local community, the role of the various networks, the driving force The power of the chief investigator and the fears of the family to weave into a narrative ”. Roth managed to “maintain the tension surrounding the disappearance of the 27-year-old jogger, the finding of her body four days later, the eight months of desperate and meticulous search for the perpetrator until the man was arrested and sentenced. Her persistent research and her sensitive portrayal ”would prove Roth's“ high level of commitment to a story ”.
