Mama Moo and the Crow (original title: Mamma Mu & Kråkan) is a Swedish - German cartoon series that was produced between 2009 and 2010 . A feature film of the same name was also broadcast on December 25, 2010 . The story is based on the Swedish children's books by Tomas Wieslander, Jujja Wieslander and Sven Nordqvist .

The cow "Mama Moo" and the crowman "Krah" get to know each other one day near a lake in a meadow, when Mama Moo curiously watches the children swimming . Mama Muh observes other people as the series progresses. Krah is impressed by this, but doesn't really want anything to do with her, as she doesn't behave like a cow. Instead of eating grass and lying in the pasture, he prefers physical activity and looks for adventures, and Krah repeatedly encourages him to take part. From there on, they always throw themselves into new challenges and become good friends.

Production and publication

The series was made between 2009 and 2010 in Swedish-German production. Directed led Igor Veyshtagin and the screenplay written Jujja Wieslander and Tomas Wieslander. Telepool GmbH is responsible for production .

The German premiere took place on November 10, 2010 on KiKA . Further broadcasts took place on ORF eins . The film, the series and a Christmas and anniversary special were released on DVD , the series and the anniversary edition also on Blu-ray Disc .
