Mohammed Mamdouh El-Beltagui

Mohammed Mamdouh El-Beltagui ( Arabic محمد ممدوح البلتاجي, DMG Muḥammad Mamdūḥ al-Baltāǧī ; * April 21, 1939 ) is an Egyptian politician .

Life

Mohammed Mamdouh El-Beltagui received his doctorate in business administration in 1973 and a doctorate in political science from the Sorbonne in 1975 . From 1975 to 1982 he was accredited as press officer at the Egyptian embassy in Paris.

From 1982 to 1993 he was head of state public relations , in 1992 he was appointed a member of the Shura council by Husni Mubarak . He joined the government of Atif Muhammad Nagib Sidqi as Minister of Tourism in October 1993 and held this office in the Ganzuri I Cabinet and the Abaid Cabinet . In the first Nazif cabinet he was Minister of Information.

He is married and has a son.
