Mammillaria solisioides mainly occurs individually but also occasionally in small groups. The cylindrical body reaches 2 to 4 centimeters in height and in diameter. The warts are briefly conical. On them sit about 25 radial spines of a chalky, dirty white color. They are up to 0.5 inches long. Central spines are absent. The flowers are yellow to yellowish white and only 14 millimeters long. The fruits are greenish and are held back by the plants so that they are often not recognizable between the warts ( serotinia ). The seeds are large and black.
