Manca Slabanja (born August 8, 1995 ) is a Slovenian cross-country skier .

Career

Slabanja took part in U18 and U20 races in the Alpine Cup from 2011 to 2015 . At the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2013 in Predeal , she finished 35th in sprint, 32nd place over 7.5 km freestyle and 28th place over 5 km classic. Her best placings at the 2014 Junior World Ski Championships in Fiemme Valley were 28th place in the skiathlon and seventh place with the relay. In February 2014, she started in the Alpine Cup for the first time and achieved 26th place over 10 km classic and third place with the relay. At the Junior World Ski Championships 2015 in Almaty she came in 29th place in the skiathlon, 27th place over 5 km freestyle and fifth place with the relay. She completed her first World Cup race in January 2016 in Planica , which she finished in 51st place in the sprint. At the Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she finished 34th over 10 km freestyle and 30th place over 10 km classic. In February 2018 she ran at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang to 59th place in the skiathlon and 54th place in the 10 km freestyle.
