Manfred Bomm

Manfred Bomm (born August 8, 1951 in Geislingen an der Steige ) is a German journalist and writer .

Live and act

Manfred Bomm worked for years as a journalist and police reporter in his home region and reported, among other things, on court hearings and local political issues. As a writer, he writes socially critical crime novels , most of which are set in south-west Germany - starting from the district of Göppingen between Ulm and Stuttgart . This is where his serial character is located, Chief Detective August Häberle. Bomm's crime novels are often based on current events and he lets his experiences from his journalistic work flow into them.

Bomm has also written some hiking books, especially on the eastern Swabian Alb . Another book deals in a humorous way with the characteristics of the Swabians ( Swabians with body and soul ).

Bomm lives in Eybach, a district of Geislingen an der Steige .
