Manfred Husmann

Manfred Husmann (born March 9, 1943 in Bassum , County Hoya) is a former judge at the Federal Social Court .

Career

Husmann studied law at the Universities of Münster , Freiburg and Göttingen . This was followed by the first state examination in 1968 and the second in 1972.

Judicial activity

He began his judicial career at the Social Court in Bremen . Manfred Husmann was seconded to the Chamber for Social Law at the Rostock-Stadt District Court on October 1, 1990 , and from July 1, 1992 he was responsible for the director of the Rostock Social Court . He was thus significantly involved in the development of social justice in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . On April 1, 1993 he was appointed Vice President of the Regional Social Court of Bremen . Just one month later, on May 1, 1993, he was appointed judge at the Federal Social Court. There he was assigned to the 8th and 10th Senate, later to the 7th Senate responsible for employment promotion law and the 4th Senate responsible for statutory pension insurance .

At the end of March 2008, Manfred Husmann retired when he reached the age limit.

In addition to his judicial work, Husmann also worked as an author specializing in “ European law ”.
